I have a question for you:
With only 14 days left in the year, what’s the one thing you’ll do yet in 2020?
What’s that one thing that you will …
- finally take care of so you don’t carry it over to the new year?
- complete to end 2020 on a high note?
- give up … and be okay with it?
- implement and then smile because you got ‘er done?
This is the question I’ve been asking myself all week. I have it narrowed down to a few professional and personal items, but I don’t yet have my final answer.
Let me ask you, what’s that one thing you will do? I’d love for you to tell me … just hit reply.
I’ll give you my answer next week here.

📖 What I’m Reading
I wanted to squeeze in reading one more business-type book this year, and I picked a great one: The Soul-Sourced Entrepreneur by Christine Kane. Throughout the book, Kane shares stories from business owners (aka soul-sourced entrepreneurs) who rely on intuition and self-awareness to plan and execute business dreams.
My one big ah-ha moment (so far) came in Chapter 10: The Attention Economy where she writes, “We rarely pause to consider where we place our attention…We let it get jerked around from one bright, shiny object to the next, with no awareness of the impact it has on our outcomes.”
She goes on to say, “Sometimes what breaks our creative tension has nothing at all to do with gathering more information or focusing harder. In fact, a constant flow of input for the sake of more input can clog our brains and stall our creativity. Sometimes our thoughts need space to move around, to find their own connections, and to become what ultimately lands us successfully on the other side of that tension: insight.”
I’m reading this newly released book with my Scribd subscription (affiliate link). Scribd is the world’s largest digital library. You can read unlimited books, audiobooks, and magazines with one subscription. Use my link to get a 60-day free trial.
⚙ A Favorite Tool
This week I rediscovered once again why I love Missinglettr (affiliate link) when I logged in and saw the upgraded interface. Missinglettr is still a relatively new tool that allows you to set up a “drip” social media marketing campaign for your blog posts. Instead of just sharing your blog once, this tool helps you set up a campaign that can last 365 days! It’s total genius!
