GJK Remodeling | Website Redesign
Content Strategy and SEO Copywriting
- Develop a content strategy to match the high-quality remodeling projects our client builds.
- Consult with the website developer to provide a remodeler-specific site menu and include pages critical to converting leads to sales.
- Provide keyword research and SEO copywriting for the entire site.
This Charlotte, NC-based remodeling firm needed a major website redesign as its existing site had several technical issues, and its content was thin, generic and repetitive. Sadly, this iteration of their website had been developed a mere five months before! Our goal with this project was two-fold: First, because of our client’s previous experience, we understood they were leery of signing on with another marketing agency, so we took the time to communicate our process, introduce them to our preferred website developer, and make sure they were comfortable with engaging in this project. Secondly, we wanted to develop a website that showcased their fantastic remodeling projects. We provided consultation to the website developer on establishing the site menu and helping them understand the critical pages for a builder/remodeler client. This included creating a project portfolio template that showcases GJK Remodeling’s work.
What was unique about this project was the message from Gary’s wife, Aireale, which existed on the previous website. We found this message powerful, and when speaking with Aireale, she noted that many clients commented that this was the “hook” that got them to contact GJK. We knew we needed to preserve it. In pre-development conversations, we heard of Gary’s passion for the industry and captured his story on the About Us page. Finally, Aireale shared that many clients comment that they don’t simply get a remodeled space, but they also get a Life Remodeled. We included this on the About Page and also made sure we used “Life Remodeled” in the copy throughout the site. If you pay attention, it’s on nearly every page 🙂
Paprika Creative was the website designer and developer on this project. Our primary role was to provide keyword research, SEO strategy and SEO copywriting.
